This confectionery captures the lustrous beauty of "Habutae," the silk fabric of Echizen Fukui, renowned since the Edo period.

Made with only glutinous rice and sugar, this is a remarkably simple mochi confection. However, its flavor is surprisingly complex and nuanced.
